February 2010 – After Breakfast Mini-Workshop
“If It Didn’t Happen, Why Do I Remember it So Clearly?”
with David Drane
On Turning the Routine into the Compelling
This is a one hour workshop about writing nostalgia and memories, not memoirs.
The stories may be true but then again maybe they’re not. Can you really be sure?
But even so, they need to be written.
The workshop explores the difference between fact and fiction in writing and ways to make the routine memorable through creativity.
The emphasis is on WORK. Participant will create an interesting piece of writing based on a routine event in their lives.
