The Writer’s Studio at Simon Fraser University has written a 40-page manual (The Writer’s Studio Guide to Publishing in Literary Magazines and Entering Contests) on how to submit your work to Canadian journals, magazine and literary competitions as a free pdf on their website www.thewritersstudio.ca.
If you are new to writing contests, this is an excellent resource.
