If you’d like to become more involved with the WCDR, there are many volunteer opportunities, but perhaps the most rewarding is to serve a term on the Board of Directors.

A Board Term runs from the AGM at the June meeting (second Saturday in June) to the same time the following year. Each month we meet at a board member’s home on a mutually agreeable night. You’ll find plenty of hard work along with laughter and good food. Each board member has specific duties outside the meeting but there is always ample help when needed.

  • Do you have ideas for interesting breakfast speakers, workshops, contests etc?
  • Do you like to organize and plan events?
  • Do you want to become involved in a great organization?
  • Do you like to brainstorm with fellow writers?

If this sounds like you then your next step is to fill out a Board Nomination Form.

NOMINATIONS: You may nominate yourself or another person, but you must have the nominee’s permission first! All nominees must be current WCDR members.
