About Gwynn Scheltema
GWYNN SCHELTEMA was born in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, Africa, and her writing is shaped by that remarkable and rich landscape. . As a freelancer, she has been a columnist, ghost writer and course developer. As a poet, fiction writer and professional editor, Gwynn has won several awards for her writing including the 2007 Timothy Findlay Creative Writing Prize. Gwynn is producer and co-host of Word on the Hills, a weekly radio program on Northumberland Radio 89.7FM.
About Ruth E. Walker
RUTH E. WALKER was born and raised in Toronto, is a long-time Durham Region resident. Published in Canada, the US and the UK, Ruth’s poetry and fiction have won a variety of awards and competitions. Since 2008, she has been an artist in residence in education through an Ontario Arts Council pilot project, working with elementary and high school students. Her novel Living Underground is published by Seraphim Editions and her next manuscript is on its way to agents.
Together, Gwynn and Ruth launched Writescape in 2008, starting with workshops and writers retreats and now adding a focus on coaching and book editing services. For details: writescape.ca or firstname.lastname@example.org
