How to Develop a Social Media/Digital Marketing Strategy

This workshop will cover the digital channels (website, blog, social media) that best benefit each individual writer, recommend digital tools to make online posting/networking easy, and discuss strategies for finding readers (and members of the writing industry) online. Participants will develop an individualized digital marketing strategy and editorial/posting calendar, as well as the template to identify their individual goals and success markers. The goal is to give attendees a tangible, specific, personalized strategy.
The workshop is appropriate for writers who are new to social media, giving them a clear place to start, and writers who are experienced online users looking for tips, by providing time-saving tips, tracking tools and strategies for finding key audiences.
BIO: Anne lives to boost the signals of stories. A self-professed web-geek, Anne stays on top of the latest and greatest in the social media world. Her passion for digital marketing landed her the role of Social Media Coordinator for Ontario Parks, and she spends her days merrily tweeting, posting and vlogging.
